Meet our February graduate, Kat Sanchez, an AFPA nutritionist.
How did you develop a passion for health and dedication?
I didn’t think much of my health until fewan years ago when I started to have skin rashes. Growing up, I had occasional blemishes, but what happens to my skin at the time was something different. I felt like her skin was attacking me. Cystic acne has been painful, and my confidence has really been successful because of it. When he didn’t go for antibiotics and frequent skin diseases visits, I knew my body was trying to tell me something, so, I started walking healthy.
Which certificate did you choose, and why did you choose AFPA?
Because I was able to heal my skin from the inside out, I was passionate about perfect health. That’s why I chose Certificates over Nutritionist.
After weeks of researching a program that was right for me, I decided on an AFPA because the program allowed me to work exactly as I wanted. At the time, I was working at a 9-5 job in a completely different professional field, and I needed to make sure I could juggle both school and work. The positive review also impressed me and I decided that this program was right for me.
How was your work before your paperwork was received?
Before I became a certified, I was the Media Manager. I have worked in both the social media editor and the corporate sector. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, my dream was to get a job in the entertainment industry. I am thankful that I have found a part of this life, but I feel it is more appropriate for my career choices now.
How is your work now?
I help people cleanse their skin, especially acne, through online work. I work directly with my clients and share a collection of skin and acne treatment products on my social media platform.
What are your favorite parts of your job?
They are many! I think I would say I want to find a community that I can relate to. I am also very happy to see all the messages and results of the people I have led on this journey. I am grateful to have found my story and to help others along the way.
How does having confidence with AFPA affect your life?
It helped me find peace in my abilities. I have learned some very important information which I can now put some people on.
Do you have any success stories of clients you would like to share?
I recently found a customer who felt acne on her face and was severely beaten. All the time we were working together, not only did she see a big movement in her skin, she also felt more and more comfortable with herself. This, for me, is what I try to do with my clients.
What advice would you give to others who are considering becoming a certificate holder?
Now is the time to act! We have all seen how the world can change from day to day. I truly believe that now, more than ever, people are desperately in need of a healthy lifestyle. So if this is something you are interested in, then you need to follow it. Listen to what you think because it does not break.
